You are sustainability-minded and want to help better the future.You are Real, you take pride in what you do, and you own itYou are Open, you are open-minded, open-hearted, and open to new ideasReporting to the Area Manager here is a snapshot of what you will doUse your upbeat, outgoing personality to lead, mentor, and guide the team to ensure that the student space is running smoothlyTake full responsibility for the budget and P&L, and the financial performance of the student space.You’ll cross all the T’s and dot the I’s, to and ensure you are managing costs and maximizing profit for the propertyFollow up on all sales opportunities and ensure the student space is at capacity through short term and long term letsDrive sales and marketing activities to ensure the student space is full and all marketing channels have been utilized to their full potentialManage ‘the good’ and turn around the ‘not so good’ - meaning you will handle complaints and offer excellent student experiences to your studentsUse your advanced knowledge of safety, security, compliance, and building management to ensure core operating procedures are adhered to, followed up on and we are providing a safe secure home to our studentsMaintain and develop relationships with key players at the local universities, as well as internal and external suppliers – again here is that winning personality!Be a smooth operator and ensure the smooth running of the operational calendar and student lifecycle from arrival, departure, and summer turnaroundSound good so far Here’s what you’ll needRelevant experience running a residence within hotels, university/collegeStrong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationshipsExperience within a fast-paced, target driven environment with a strong focus on sales and marketingBeing able to communicate fluently in Spanish and English. Qualification and/or willingness to undertake training for Carbon LiteracyAnd the benefits Well apart from working with an amazing team of people you will also receiveCompetitive salary with annual discretionary bonus (as per the Convenio Colectivo de Colegios Mayores)5 weeks'' annual leave (25 days) + Additional 7 days of Easter and 8 days of Christmas. Additional ''YuDay'' which is a paid day off every year to spend as you wish to support your wellness journeyAccess to a whole host of perks like discounts on groceries, gym memberships, travel, and entertainmentSocial events and more! In our quest to change the world and inspire the change-makers of tomorrow, we have a set of superpowers.
