We are looking for an Editor/Writer in B2B editorial area for Foundry business units based in Europe.

We publish tech leading media brands like ComputerWorld and CIO. For more than five decades IDG and its businesses have been at the forefront of every major shift in the technology market, providing critical insights for tech suppliers and buyers.

Through our global brands, IDC and Foundry, we offer proprietary data, innovative platforms, and trusted content.Writing news and in-depth articles on technology and innovation trendssing various sources of information and conduct interviews with ICT market executives and those responsible for technology strategy in large companies and public sector organizations.Covering press conferences and events in the ICT sector and, also, those organized by Foundry.Translation and adaptation into Spanish of all types of information in English (news, long articles, etc.).Generating content in a creative way for both written and video formats.Keeping up to date with developments in the ICT sector and look for interesting topics and stories for our audience.Maintaining a uniform line in style, images and tone, in accordance with the guidelines set by Foundry and taking into account the use of keywords in the technology sector (for the organic positioning of the texts).Social media tasks (dynamize the content published on the main social networks).At least 2-3 years'' experience as a journalist (web content writer, etc.).

Experience as an editor/writer in the ICT sector or in the business press would be desirable.Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism or other communications or media discipline or extensive online editing and/or journalism experience in ICT market.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in Spanish and the ability to tell good stories (in a variety of formats and channels) through a journalistic lens.

High level of spoken and written English (B2/C1) Knowledge of the IT industry in general and of our audience (IT professionals and executives such as CIOs, CISOs and other CxO''s) will be desirable Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO and social media is also an asset.

Microsoft Office Suite computer skills, proficiency in major digital platforms, and proficiency with graphic design tools (like InDesign) and best practices, social media, Microsoft Teams, Office 365, etc.Availability to travel Creative and proactive in coming up with ideas and positive, proactive person, with can-do attitude, driven to learn and collaborate to achieve teams’ goals  BenefitsHybrid work (2 days in the office/3 remote work per week)Internally provided trainingRestaurant cardOffice near Madrid (in Las Rozas, office well connected by train or bus)
