As a diverse, multicultural and inclusive institution, our goal is to make an impact on people’s lives. We are looking for a person to join a full-time position based in Segovia.Your role as a Senior Fashion Lab Tech will involve toProvide hands-on guidance and instruction to students in the use of sewing machines, sergers, and other garment construction equipment.Assist students in understanding and applying design principles and techniques to their projects.Supervise and oversee the production process, ensuring quality and adherence to project requirements.Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement curriculum enhancements and projects.Maintain and organize the fashion laboratory, including equipment, supplies, and materials.Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in fashion design and production techniques.To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualificationsExtensive experience and proficiency in operating garment construction machinery, including sewing machines, sergers, and industrial equipment.Strong background in fashion design, with experience in garment production and preferably in design as well.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and support students.Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Passion for education and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of aspiring fashion designers.It’s time to bring your best and make your mark. â€‹Now the choice is yours! â€‹â€‹If you want to be part of this educational revolution, we invite you to apply and be part of our amazing team at IE University.
