They help us to push boundaries to deliver extraordinary impact and make KKI a brilliant place to work. Job Purpose Medical Affairs, non-promotional role using deep scientific expertise toProactively manage the scientific relationships between Kyowa Kirin and selected therapy area experts and academics.Support internal knowledge on therapy area and product.

Actively liaise with the clinical development & HEOR teams to identify data gaps and ensure timely delivery of key studies and projects.

Design and deliver the medical strategy and to help shape the business strategy.Medical action plan executionUndertake all activities with a focus on working collaboratively with KEEs to identify opportunities advancing clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.

Madrid office based or Hybrid including 3 days in the office.Key Responsibilities Maintain deep level of scientific knowledge on the full dataset of assigned Kyowa Kirin therapy areas and relevant treatment options to enable peer to peer level scientific exchange.Foster & develop selected National Key External Experts (KEEs) relationships (e.g.

key academics) that enhance their understanding of our science and data, engage them in research where appropriate, as well as our understanding of current thinking, insights, gaps and needs of the clinical community.Respond to unsolicited enquiries from HCPs in a timely manner using expert knowledge, providing accurate, fair, balanced, and non-promotional scientific information/ presentations relating to licensed and unlicensed indications.Maintain appropriate knowledge levels of the Patient Journey Manager team, on latest science and publications by the delivery of internal, therapy area and on-label product trainingDevelop local medical strategy and medical plan, as well as, actively participate in the cross-functional brand plan bringing scientific insights into discussion with cross-functional colleagues in Sales, Marketing, and Payer Value & Patient Access.Execute medical activities in line with the medical strategy including actively planning and participating in advisory boards, medical education activities, local evidence generation, and clinical investigator meetingsCreation of medical materials (e.g.

literature reviews, medical letters, slide kits etc.) and review/approval of medical and promotional materials.Directly liaise with Clinical Operations & HEOR to contribute to the successful delivery of data generation activities, clinical development programs and compassionate use programs (including but not limited to support of company sponsored trials, registries, investigator sponsored studies, early access programs, etc.).Attend selected international and national medical conferences to learn, gather insights and provide scientific exchange, take an active role in Symposiums and Scientific Meetings & provide briefing to the speakers of scientific events.Support Corporate Affairs with Patient Organisation collaborations where required.Directly liaise with Clinical Operations & HEOR to contribute to the successful delivery of data generation activities, clinical development programs and compassionate use programs (including but not limited to support of company sponsored trials, registries, investigator sponsored studies, early access programs, etc.).Attend selected international and national medical conferences to learn, gather insights and provide scientific exchange, take an active role in Symposiums and Scientific Meetings & provide briefing to the speakers of scientific events.Support Corporate Affairs with Patient Organisation collaborations where required.Position Requirements Scientific background (Education or previous experience)Medical degree is nice to haveExperience in medical manager/ medical advisor position Excellent local language required; good English requiredExperience in Onco-Haematology is a nice to have 20% of the time field focused (Face to face or virtual) - Travelling in territory – when required by the businessDriving - must hold valid driving licenseEngagement ExcellenceScientific, Technical and Clinical Excellence
