ADP is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cyber Red Team Operator to join our Advanced Threat Emulation and Offensive Security Operations team.

This critical role ensures the resilience of ADPu2019s global infrastructure by simulating real-world adversarial tactics to identify and remediate gaps in our security posture. We're looking for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, consultative leadership, and a passion for mentoring in a mission-focused environment. As a Senior Red Team Operator, you will lead objective-based security assessments, emulating sophisticated threat actors using real-world tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Your mission is to assess ADPu2019s detection, response, and prevention capabilities, helping to enhance the organizationu2019s overall cyber resilience.

You will scope engagements, conduct advanced simulations, present findings to stakeholders, and drive remediation efforts across the enterprise. What Youu2019ll Do Red Team Engagements Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of complex Red Team operations across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments. Simulate advanced threat actors leveraging red teaming frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, CALDERA, custom tooling). Conduct end-to-end security assessments targeting enterprise systems, networks, applications, and cloud platforms. Create objectives and test actions to validate controls such as EDR, proxy, DPI, and DLP. Collaboration & Influence Work closely with technology and business units to integrate findings into actionable risk mitigation strategies. Build and maintain trusted partnerships across the organization to influence security outcomes. Serve as a key point of contact for engagement planning, execution, reporting, and metrics. Team Leadership & Development Provide mentorship and technical coaching to junior and mid-level operators. Promote a culture of operational excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration. Support purple teaming and contribute to cybersecurity tabletop exercises as needed. Innovation & Contribution Develop supporting tools, templates, and processes to improve team efficiency. Stay current on emerging threats, TTPs, and offensive security techniques. Partner with Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and Detection Engineering teams to inform operations. What You Bring Technical Expertise Advanced offensive security experience, including custom tooling in Python and use of Cobalt Strike (BOF, Malleable C2). Deep knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure), including initial access, privilege escalation and lateral movement techniques. Expert-level web application security assessment and exploitation skills. Strong understanding of OS/database security across Windows, Linux, UNIX, SQL and No-SQL databases. Leadership & Communication Proven experience leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity assessments within a global organization. Ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical issues for diverse audiences. Strong consultative approachu2014balancing security rigor with business impact. Preferred Certifications Required OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) Preferred OSCE (Offensive Security Certified Expert) Proficiency in Red Team tools including Cobalt Strike, with experience developing Malleable C2 profiles and BOFs Minimum Qualifications Proven success in red team operations, offensive security testing, and adversary emulation. Strong experience with threat frameworks, tools, and scripting. Demonstrated ability to mentor, influence, and collaborate across a large enterprise.
