Our People At IE we are People-drivenChange BuildersAutonomy EnthusiastsCommunication EnthusiastsKnowledge ChampionsWe are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid - IE TowerYour role as a Coordinator will involveEVENTSPlan, organize, and execute events and special initiatives—on and off campus—from concept to delivery, under the direction of the Associate Director.Coordinate with internal teams (facilities, logistics, communications, and social media) and external partners (vendors, venues, audiovisual teams).Support extracurricular and community-building activities, attending events both on and off campus when required (including occasional evenings or weekends).Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and partners, ensuring efficient communication and high-quality outcomes.Attend, capture, and document events through photography, filming, and post-event reporting.Support student engagement initiatives in collaboration with the Student Experience and Campus Life teams, including coordination of related student clubs and community activities.Act as a key liaison for guest speakers and partner institutions, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics, communications, and hospitality.SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONSLiaise with IE’s communications, marketing, social media and web teams to develop and adapt content for the School’s website, newsletters, and social media channels.Draft engaging copy for posts, press releases, and other promotional materials aligned with the School’s tone and brand.Contribute creative ideas to enhance visibility and engagement through storytelling, design, and multimedia content.GENERAL COORDINATIONAssist in budget tracking, vendor management, and the processing of payments and invoices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date (with support from the Assistant).Maintain effective communication with faculty, students, and administrative departments across IE University.To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally in social media, communications, or event management.Experience creating visual and text-based deliverables, such as PowerPoints and event flyers.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.Highly adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in both English and Spanish.Previous photography experience highly valued.Bachelor Degree is highly desirableUnleash your full potential and make an impact.
