As an Account Executive, you are expected to demonstrate a curiosity/eagerness for learning, a customer-first mindset, the ability to solve problems working backwards from goals and to invent and simplify processes.
The role requires a keen sense of ownership, scrappiness, initiative, and a track record of executing in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited resources. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services. Key job responsibilities Your responsibilities will include Ensure customer satisfaction. Meet or exceed revenue and goal targets in a defined territory. Help develop a comprehensive account/territory plan to manage and grow numerous accounts concurrently. Grow & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services. Accelerate customer adoption. Maintain a robust sales pipeline. Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption. A day in the life In this role, you will also establish Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the companies you manage, promoting the entire AWS products and services portfolio to Startups Customers.
You will be at the heart of latest trends like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), serverless and IoT, helping your customers to leverage state-of-the-art technologies on AWS to innovate and become the next disrupters, like todayu2019s AirBnB, Slack, DoorDash, and Lyft. About the team The startup organization at AWS comprises experts from across the global ecosystem, including former founders and CTOs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and mentors who upskill today's founders to navigate challenges and opportunities as they build their business, and our Startup Marketing team is where the magic happens. The Startup Central Sales team focus on acquiring new customers and accelerating AWS adoption of existing customers.

Basic Qualifications - Experience in a high-performance start-up or incubation effort within a larger company - Experience in business development, sales, or sales-engineering, preferably in the technology, internet, and e-commerce sectors - Experience formulating and executing strategies to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS or equivalent technologies - Speak, write, and read fluently in French - Speak, write, and read fluently in English Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g.
